Kinda feeling nauseous this morning - guess that will help in eating light today. (there is always a silver lining) This weekend's goals are to grab snacks to eat before I leave work so I am not starving by the time I get home which hopefully will help stop my horrible eating at night... fingers crossed. Have a wonderful Friday :)

Ok...I've realized my hardest time for me is when I get home from work. By then I'm starving and a sweet tooth also kicks in..I feel like I'd smack someone who got in my way of getting my carbs..Smh. now to find a way to fight the obnoxious craving!

Actually slept pretty well last night. I didn't wake up with my typical migraine til 4am! My 3 year old daughter and I started our day with a Blueberry, Kale and Vanilla Almond Milk smoothie. (I love my nutribullet!) I still can't believe how many carbs are in what I eat. I am a true believer in a balanced diet and won't deplete carbs out of my life entirely however I want to cut back on the processed and stick more to natural carbs/sugars. This is going to be rough but I love this site and going to keep determined. I did cheat a little bit last night - my son baked a red velvet cake with homemade frosting (watch out Gordon Ramsey!!) and I had a small piece. Its a new day :)

Who knew a salad could contain so much fat! I love this tracking system where I can see the pie chart as to what I have eaten and where its attributed! I know the avacado I have eaten today is a healthy fat, but still I really thought my salad would have been better than it was. More veggies and protein for dinner.

I am actually feeling motivated today! Its been a long time since I have felt this way. I just found this site and I love it. I am tired of telling people oh I am trying to diet again and getting the smirks. I may have failed over and over, but at least I continue to try as well. nobody around me knows that I have joined this or that I am trying once again... I want it to show and then make them say something or ask what I am doing. I plan on getting home tonight and swimming some laps (since I realized what I call swimming really is just wading in the pool with the kids lol) but water is easier on my body and that is a huge help!
