Weighing LETTUCE -- May be a bit Anal but .....
I've googled the heck out of how to measure lettuce. So many sites say "don't bother, they have so few calories", but when doing Atkins/Induction, I WILL BOTHER. I MUST bother.
I've read "pack as much as you can in one cup" -- well, I can cram 1/2 of a bag in 1 cup! Then I think I read somewhere, don't pack it.
I would like to hear what you think ... when 15-20g carbs must come from foundation veggies, it's important to do this thing right.
I'm guessing measuring the lettuce in grams would be most accurate? I read that 2 Cups = 85grams, or 1 Cup Romaine is 47grams.

For the last 2 days, I've been HUNNNNGRY! So, I just went back in my food Journal (man, that sure can come in handy!!!) to see what I did 'back in the day' when I NEVER felt hungry! I see my fat was much higher, so I will bump that up. In fact, I printed off 3 of the days foods and I plan on replicating them ...
It's fun, in a way, figuring out what makes this ole body tick!

Well, well, well .. will ya lookie here ツツツ
I'm excited again. And it's all thanks to YOU, for giving me that encouragement, motivation, kick in the patootie ... and for taking the time in setting me straight on how this whole dieting thing works. And ... The long letters you've written have meant more to me than I could possibly say. The meal ideas, food choices, and data/facts on the Atkins. It's endless, all that you've done for me. And I know myself enough to KNOW ... that had I not gotten these things, I would have PROBABLY given up.
FS is such a great place. You all have been so kind and knowledgeable and open armed to newcomers, I just wanna thank you for all that you are!! Because in my eyes, you are all treasures.
P.S. I get a bit sappy at times, when I'm feeling the way that I do. So thankful, grateful, and blessed. I'll try to hold back LOL (No promises tho!!!) ツ
