So yeah. After much fits and starts I restart again. Today I decided to see what oatmeal on a regular basis will do to my moderately high cholesterol. Gonna add Omega 3 oil pills to the mix on payday too. I'm still fat but I was damn near 325 when my doc told me my cholesterol and blood pressure. Today in preparation for this I weighed in at 303. Gotta get under 3 bills. Would like to get to around 2 bills. We shall see how it goes.
So soup, and oatmeal and prob'ly still a fair amount of mr noodles at around 1500 calories a day. One cheat day a week on sunday when I do Sunday lunch with the adult kids (who don't want oatmeal and would sooner fried chicken)

Full Bunny plan for the win. Note: I am not eating bunnies. Tho it is very possible I may be starving a few by consuming their food sources. Four months ago I started dabbling with this I was 318 and made the decision to start eating better again. Until this week I hadn't really committed to it. Over the initial 3 and a half months of half assery with it I lost 6 pounds. Not what I would call awesome results.
On Wednesday of this week I finally committed to it. On paper it is massive calorie restriction. I am rarely hungry doing it tho. For the most part, I skip breakfast because I'm not hungry until 11 or so anyway and I've just been eating 2 un-buttered toasted tomato sandwiches for lunch. For dinner I do a salad with a full head of lettuce and a tomato. Half an onion and about 100 grams of shredded farmers ( aka marble) cheese. Top it off with 3 chopped hard boiled eggs and a little low cal salad dressing. A couple snacks here and there but that's about it. So from 312 wednesday night to now (really early saturday morning) I'm 304. 8 pounds in 3 days. No hunger. I'll take it while it lasts.

So...yeah. It's been a while. I fell off the wagon and got dragged behind the wagon in the muck and grease.. mostly grease. I ate everything dead or seriously subdued for the last year and gained every ounce back. Ten pounds more in fact. When I started watching things again I was 319 pounds. (I know right?) Pizza, Mcdonalds and seemingly every other fast food was the watch word of the year I was away. Mostly I was just lazy and kinda just stuffing my face as a means of feeling something like normal. I've been fighting anxiety and depression since I was a teenager and it got the better of me. This is not poor me. It's simply what happened. I'm back on the watch of calories and actually willing to cook and eat food at home. I've been half assing it for a couple weeks and have lost 13 pounds. Seems to be the way to go for now.
