My name is Carla and I work for The University of Alabama. I am 48 years old, a widow and a single mom. I was a model when I was a teenager and have had a hard time learning to accept that you don't have to be perfect. The modeling world is such a false reality and distorter of human value and can kill your self worth. I am the budget manager for my department at work and I am also studying psychology. I am excited to get started on living a healthier lifestyle. I am not in a hurry to take weight off overnight. I am 5'8 1/2" tall and currently weigh about 280 lbs. I want to lose 140 lbs.
