I am now 13.5 stone, having been a size 10 most of my life. But having retired at 60, stopped smoking, no longer cycling everywhere, leading a sedentary life too close to the kitchen, I have now tipped into the obese level and am horrified at this. So please, if anyone out there has a similar story, perhaps we could encourage each other to be elegant slim older ladies, that is my aim!
