I'm a shift worker in Alberta, Canada. Love the job I do and have done it for years. It can be easy to fall into bad eating habits with shifts.
I started this journey a few years ago at 205 lbs and finally got serious August 2015.
I want to get out of my shell a bit more. Start mountain biking again.
Even though my co-workers see me differently as far as my weight goes...I not only see the change in my appearance but the thing that really gets me is how I feel.
I don't feel good carrying this extra weight. Body parts get in the way of me, tying up my shoes..how my clothes feel on me...so much more I could say..
When I found this site (by accident totally!) I thought what the Hell and decided to join.
It's nice knowing that others are right along side me doing the same thing..facing the same challenges etc...
Happy to be here and look forward to being able to tie my shoes without my odds and bods getting in the way...and even more so to getting back on my bike and comfortably taking some jumps!
