Amazingly enough, I really really wanted to walk my 3 miles today but due to a huge blister on my right heel I had to shorten it ! I walked less than a mile and came back home. I just do not want to irritate it so much I cannot walk the rest of the week. I tried powder, special bandaids and different socks...the shoes are good New Balance ones. I just got a blister on Sunday's walk and have to "baby" it now.

my NB kicks give me blisters on my heels. i just can't wear them anymore. got a serious blister on my finger from pulling weeds. oooh, i wanted to pop it so badly! but i researched & found out epsom salts help draw out the white blood cells or blood and it heals more quickly if you don't pop it. epsom salts feel soooo good on achy anything.
i had a good walk at lunch today. made 2.5 mi, and even ran (which i HATE). the tread is coming off my "good" shoes, can't wait til i can afford a decent pair for hiking and lunch-time walks. good kicks make such a huge difference. i feel like i can go further faster when i have my jock shooze on. chuck taylors just don't cut it.
peace & love
