PULL THEM COVERS UP...goood friday morning..48 outside..and like who wants to get outta a nice warm bed if they dont have to..not me..one of the perks of being retired..just means rest of the daily schedule will be just a tad behind..decided to take this morning off from riding..ive put 4 days in a row on bicycle..got 74 miles for my week..just 10 miles from hitting average..so figued id take this morning off..first time in several months that i got up outta bed an put sweats an a long john shirt on..just to keep my body warm..havent turned on furnace yet..by 10 or so..will be getting warmer..an il be doing the change the clothes back into shorts and tshirt again..the part of the changing of the seasons i dont care for..to much changing of clothes to be comfy...

using pork rinds crumbled up on chicken breast with egg wash kinda tasted like long john silvers recipe yesterday when i was taking them off the cookie sheet after baking them...guess today when i set up my salad..il see if they still taste that way or if i was just dreaming yesterday...lol...

with the cooler afternoons..i been trying to get an afternoon ride in..usually after lunch when most everyone has gotten back to work..i head out about 1pm..and do a short 15 miles or so...just enjoy the ride..getting close to my 4000 miles for the year..after todays ride..when ever that might be..il be over 3450...im still thinking i can hit 5000 by end of the year..a new all time for me when only last year 1400 plus was my high..but i did the 1400 in six months last year..so if i had been riding a full year..might have doubled it..

well..once again...time to close an move..and be thankful i dont have to get outside anytime soon..i dread the colder weather...know its coming ..cant do nothing about it..but just way it is..

I don't like having to put on all the extra layers of clothes on to keep warm in the winter either. Makes me feel sort of claustrophobic! At least you can do your rides indoors now you have the Zwift.

Just came back from a 1.5 mile morning walk...yeap...didnt feel like riding this morning but decided to break up the routine with a slow walk...and back of my leg behind knee...doesnt even hurt like it did several months ago..possibly a different activity to use from time to time...
