Hello FS Folks:

So today I am playing around with food. I need something "bready" and as you know if you are low carb, bread is a no-no. But, I need some bread!!

So, I tried this recipe for Swedish Breakfast Buns- about 4 net carbs per bun!
I have no idea why it's called Swedish but it turned out relatively good. What do I mean relatively. Well, low carb recipes are usually awful. But, this was rich in calories and I ate it hot with butter and cream cheese. And, I liked it - it satisfied my bread craving and I am happy. What I really, really wanted was some jam so I think I will explore making chia jam with Stevia -it's on the Web

So here is the link for those who want to try:

And, as always everyone is diff with what they like.

Isn't experimenting fun?

Jenibeann: Yes, when it works out well. Long time ago I tried a low carb recipe "muffin in a mug" and it was the worst thing I ever tasted. LOL So, with low carb bread recipes I always am a little cautious but everything in the low carb world has gotten better over the last thee or four years from when I tried last.
