Day 59 of new lifestyle, and I tried on my wedding gown for the first time since November. OH MY GOSH, I went into panic mode. The undergarment bra piece fits fine still, but the slip ($80!!) falls right off, it's so loose! And I thought the dress would just be a little more flattering with the weight loss, but it's noticeably bigger and loose. This is not good.
So, I researched professional tailors/alterations in my area, and found a great one. She let me know that she can do her magic for a pretty penny on the dress, but the slip might be unsalvageable. She mentioned that I can continue with the weight loss for another 4-6 weeks before the first real fitting, but after that, I need to maintain and not lose, so the alterations will be correct.
Friends, we know what this means: I need to hit it HARD in the next month or so.
I need to lose as much as I can before the alterations. If I just continue to lose, the dress won't fit right, or I'll have to spend extra money on last minute rush alterations. Gahhh, this is so complicated!
Hope everybody has a good week!
