Another week to look forward to! Last week was good, for the most part. I did have a little buttercream incident yesterday while decorating a cake, but I purposely stayed up late to finish the cake so today would be icing-free.
I am working on meal planning for the week ahead, which is thankfully less hectic than the one just past. My MIL has headed back home, so I don't have to worry about entertaining and we will avoid restaurants and eat at home this week.
Have a great week!

Great, I find that the only way that I can keep on track is to plan my meals one week in advance I spent a few hours on Saturday planning and entering my meals for Monday - Sunday this week. Keeping in mind my own macros of 20% carb, 40% fat and 40% protein. So no guess work for the week, just need to follow the plan and make any revisions to my food diary if necessary.

Understand, we are seniors, so mostly eating at home just the two of us. Makes it easier to control. We are going out for a Mother's Day brunch this Sunday so I checked the menu online and selected the items that I thought would work best with my plan. Scrambled eggs, shrimp salmon, beef tenderloin and some salad. No pancakes, french toast, or dessert. Have factored in 2 glasses of champagne though LOL,
