Draglist's Journal, 19 Apr 17

Woke at 208.2, down 1.2 from yesterday. Body was having a war last night as I was very bloated and had indigestion at one point, but after several bathroom visits I could tell the extra water began to be expelled. I have been thrilled with the Skinny Gut products Mom2Boxers recommended. The fiber and probiotic shake are having their desired effect (along with magnesium citrate, vitamin D, and fish oil). Targeting 765 calories today and will try to eat it all for dinner (with coconut oil coffee at breakfast and lunch). UPDATE: Coconut oil coffee for breakfast and lunch kept the hunger at bay. Ate dinner at 5 and nailed my desired macros and calories. Got my five miles in. Did a quick pre-dinner weight check and was 208.4 with 15.3 percent body fat.

4/19/17 Tanita Numbers (after dinner, after 5.2 miles):
Weight - 208.8 (est. goal at 10% BF - 183.0) - 25.8 lbs. to lose
Total body fat % - 15.4 (goal is 10.0) - +5.4%
Total body fat lbs. - 32.2 (est. goal at 10% BF - 18.3) - +13.9 lbs.
Total body water % - 57.4 (balance is 62.5%) - 5.1% dehydrated

Bone mass lbs. - 8.4 (est. goal at 10% BF - 8.0) - +.4 lbs. (water)

Draglist, that is great to hear. I haven't been doing the shakes but I am doing the digestive enzymes, tummy fiber, probiotics and the fermented Kombucha tea. It sure helps with digestive issues (indigestion, constipation, diarrhea, heart burn, etc). We both have fluid retention and I really think getting the gut healthier will eventually get rid of that. I hope so.

Good to hear positive things about products. I may look for them too. Good drop as well!

I already had some digestive enzymes here and extra probiotics. That is why I didn't order her shake. Which one are you using? I noticed Amazon had several different ones.

That is true. Some of this stuff isn't great tasting. Gosh, if it were ... I wouldn't be drinking Kombucha tea. Ha Ha! It's GT's Gingerade flavor. You could almost say it was like beer from fizzy bubbles .... but the taste .... it's rather off the charts. Can't explain it. It makes my indigestion go away, though, and I sleep better at night as my stomach feels less bloated. The Skinny Gut book is something anyone should read that has problems with digestion and IBS or colon issues.

I take Swedish Bitters for gut health - seems to work okay for me.
