Another long day. Took my MIL to the city for a day at the hospital with my BIL. Doctors decided to do another heart cath. The area they said last week was 50% blocked turned out to be 70%, and they installed a stent there, plus another one in an area they apparently completely missed last week. Also ballooned an additional place. He woke up in recovery feeling better already...chest pain gone! I am so glad he feels better (even ordered some dinner!) but still frustrated about this 2nd procedure. Doing it right the first time would have been good. I had coffee with cream for breakfast and fasted the rest of the day. Came home and had a protein shake for dinner and some pecans a little later. Didn't want to try and navigate the hospital cafeteria.

I would say it's rare when pneumonia saves a person's life, but here you have it.

Good to know that BIL is feeling better . But yes u would be frustrated as much as you were. It could have been put right the first time.
Glad that you avoided the cafeteria. It so easy to go and eat something temping, especially when you feel anxious
