I'm on vacation! My Thanksgiving shopping is done so I'm not leaving the house until Friday.
FYI - just letting you know the doggie experiment backfired. DH fell in love with the dog (like I knew he would) but the owner has decided not to give the dog away after all.

Enjoy your vacation :-) I have 1/2 day to go and then will be off until Monday - wonderful. Sorry about the dog but you never know what it is good for.

Whoopee Vacation !!! Have a great Thanksgiving :) Sorry the doggie experiement didn't work out, maybe you'll find another lovable ball of furr later ? Are you one of those people that get's out "early" on Black Friday for shopping ????? Too many crazy people pushing & shoving for me.

WOW - 3 AM!!!!! Not the bestest friend in the world would get me out at that time of the night for shopping. You might consider not going to bed at all ;-)

Yvonne - it is tradition. We used to go at 5 AM but now the store opens at 3.

Sandy - The first people in line get a Store gift card (from $5 to $100). And then as long as we are out we go next door to JC Penney to get the free snow globe - and then on to the next store for the next free gift, etc. We've done it for so many years now that it would feel wrong not to go.
