Sandy701's Journal, 05 Sep 11

Happy Labor Day to all, esp. those who aren't getting rained on!!! Now-Tropical Depression Lee is dumping lots of rain on us, intermittently, and spawning tornado warning after tornado warning. They don't expect the kinds of tornados that level entire towns, but just quick, small ones that do slight to moderate damage in isolated spots. Probably not all that dangerous of a situation, but it's still unnerving.

This is a dangerous day for me....I'm completely off my routine for exercise and general activity. So, I've got this nervous energy that I can't quite seem to channel. When this happens, I just want to munch constantly. What I need is a project I can get lost in - a project I would actually enjoy, not anything like cleaning the refrigerator, cleaning the bathrooms, etc.

Sandy - so sorry lee is still making you miserable. I don't blame you for feeling uneasy! Hope you find something to do to keep your mind occupied. Rain is supposed to move in here tonight, but we need it so badly will take in any way we can. Irene completely missed us.

Bren, a cooperative project would be nice. DH has a number of projects, but they all involve his car, so I'm not too anxious to volunteer to help with that - LOL! Hope your DH isn't working you too hard.

Buffy, Lee has lots and lots of rain but hopefully you'll be spared all the tornado stuff. Looks like Georgia and Alabama are getting the brunt of that now, so it may blow itself out before it gets to you and just give you the rain you need. Take care.

Sandy, darn... I wish I would have read your journal earlier, you could have helped me mow my 1/4 acre! I hope you found a project that you found pleasure in!

Hey, I could make you a whole list of "projects"! I can't blame you for staying out of the garage either. What strange weather we are having lately, there were frost warnings for upper Wisconsin last night already, then back to the 80's by the end of the week. I can't blame you for being uneasy about TD Lee, stay safe!!

Cheryl, unfortunately I did not find that elusive project I was looking for. I ate way too many peanuts, but did not stray off plan. Have a good week.

Bren, if I am out in the garage for too long, I get roped into holding up a HUGE car door or helping take off a hood, or helping him bleed the brake system, or whatever! I've learned to stay out of there AMAP.

Dar, Labor Day can run the whole gamut of weather in WI, so it's hard to plan. At least it should be nice for the fans at Lambeau on Thursday night. Enjoy your week.
