Successfully completed my 2nd fast day. Again I was so thirsty, so I guess this is going to be normal for me. That is a good thing cause I usually have to remind myself to drink enough water. I lost 3 pounds during my fast last week...this week NADA! Goose egg! Not an ounce!! That's okay, just more evidence of what a mystery our bodies are. I will not be discouraged. It is snowing here and I have to go into town. Darn! I don't like winter!! Have a great day buddies!

That's OK. At least you got the benefits from it. Who knows, maybe I ft will show up later in the week. Our bodies are so complicated. No snow here, but it was 19 degrees when I woke up. I'm definitely not used to that in the great state of SC...lol. Hope your day is as awesome as you, buddy!

I always thought fasting was nothing to eat or drink. Would you explain what you are doing with your fasting.

Well done, I don't think I could do it, not in the wintertime, anyway! You probably will see a drop in a day or two.

Pwhite2015, I only drink water and black coffee. I go ahead and have a good breakfast, then nothing until the next morning at breakfast. Some people drink broth or bullet proof coffee during their fast, I haven't yet anyway. I joined a group, Faster you faster, where we all fast one day a week. You might check it out if you are interested.

Rhontique, it is great that you were thirsty and gave yourself lots of water. It's not surprising that you didn't lose, in a way. If you were that thirsty you were probably on the dehydrated side before, so you will soak up that water and hang on to it to restore yourself. It's all good. BTW, when you say have a good breakfast - how good is good? In terms of how much you eat? My breakfast these days is the biggest, the most fat and kcal loaded meal, often half my daily tally or more1! No worries for me about eating more, I simply can't do it.

Great! I've never had much luck with fasting. Hang in there, maybe you are getting ready for another big loss.

Fasting a day is another thing I could do when I was younger. Not so much now, so good on you for doing it. Dang! Just reading your post makes me hungry! Keep up the good work, Rhontique.
