That's exactly what I was trying to say a little tongue in cheek I can't wait till I'm five pounds under my ideal weight and that 5 pounds will always be my cushion because one day one stinking day can ruin weeks of hard work

Low carb, healthy fats. Several different "diets" fall in this category. Atkins, South Beach, Keto, etc. It is the only way I have found that I can lose weight and not feel like I am starving all the time. Get off the refined carbs makes my body feel so much better. Reduced pain and inflammation is such a blessing with weight loss thrown in for good measure.

Thanks for the info. My own diet is high protein low carb too. It is probably a combination of all of those. Once in a while a salad, about once a week some veggies, eggs, yogurt lite 7-10 gms sugar only, all kinds of cheese whenever I want, 3 eggs at a time, etc. that's what I have all the time. I am rarely hungry so it works for me. I also had weight loss surgery 12 1/2 years ago and to date I have lost 180 lbs

1 1/2 years ago I finally decided to give up all my favorite foods and lost 70 lbs. since 3/14. It's not easy. I hate it but finally wear sz small which I never thought would EVER happen. I found I had to make a daily decision to not eat my favorite foods ever again. I also suffer from body dysmorphia. That means I see myself as my old 350 lb weight.

Love the picture. Really funny. Any tool, however, can be a double edge sword and misused. In this case she might start using it as a funnel. ; )
