My wife made white chicken chili with beans tonight. Absolutely delicious. Just wish I had a picture to show on the FS site. Maybe tomorrow when we have it the 2nd time. This a lighter version with no sour cream. Love it !! Friday night, we went to a Cuban restaurant. The food was very good, but high in salt. Everyone have a great weekend.

I love white chicken chili. Trying to find one that someone else made that isn’t super high calorie has been a challenge. So wish i enjoyed cooking. Lucky boy you are.

Diana 1234, she is a wonderful spouse. She is also a superb chef, and will try to make just about anything at least once. I will have to start taking pictures of the meals she prepares, whether they be plain or exotic. BTW, we will have been married 52 years in May.

Wow, that's awesome 😎 52 years is a achievement to be very proud of. I've seen white chili but I don't believe I've ever eaten white chicken chili. I've heard people say that it's tasty I'll try eating it sometime if I come in contact in the future but you should definitely post pictures of your wife's meals I love to see them as for being simpler complex I don't think that's really important food is delicious and nourishing to the body whether or not it's fancy that's really just for guests and special days anyways. ^^

Yippee Ki Yay and Leah_guffey, thank you. Yes, it has been an amazing trip in those 52 years. Like everyone, we have had the normal bumps in the road & joyous years together, raised 2 wonderful daughters, have 4 beautiful granddaughters (2 grown and 2 that are less than 10), and 1 great-grandson who is almost 2 but looks at least 3. Through it all, my wife has been a great strength for me.
