GOAL ACHIEVED! Today was my 20th cross country ski of the season. About 3 hours, 5.24 miles. 118 miles for the season. There was a ridiculous amount of new snow out there, which made skiing tough. Our best guess was 8-10 inches. Plus, we were both wiped out from 2 straight days of shoveling wet, heavy snow. Was light and fluffy up top, but not in town. We were fortunate someone had gone through earlier and broken trail, because I'm not sure we could have handled breaking trail through that.

I'm happy to report that I've solved the problem of the oversized ski pants. Went through my sewing pile and found a pair I'd forgotten about that just needed to be shortened. They're still a little big, but not like the ones I was hitching up with cargo shorts. Plus, these have belt loops! Score!
