Dentist today. Same story. Must floss more. No cavities. Must floss more. Also, must floss more. So hate going but always glad i did when its over. Crazy, would think i would. I have had both my upper and lower jaw broken, one round of orthodontics when i was 35 to fix my bite (was told i would lose my teeth by 60 if i didnt) and yet…must floss.

Do you have one of those hand held water picks. They are rechargeable. The best thing i ever bought. I use it all the time. It gets things floss doesn't! And yup. Flossing is the most important thing.

Flossing gets the food out away from your gums. If not removed it causes inflammation and the particles get under your gum / bacteria. Then your bone starts to break down which is holding your teeth in. No bone no teeth. I'm sure you already know this. It's sad how many don't. You've been through so much. I can't imagine having my jaw broke . Ouch

Lol My dentist said “Only floss the teeth you want to keep”.

I started flossing 2 weeks before my last appointment just so I would not hear those words again. And now it's become a habit! I only did it occasionally before, but now I do it before bed.

I floss every day but I’m with you on going to dentist. I hate the sounds! I find the older I get, the more I don’t like getting teeth cleaned. I do it but don’t like it…💜

I floss daily, every night. Pick the same time and stick to it. It only takes less than a minute? Unless maybe you don’t do it daily. We only get one set of teeth. 😁

I may look into that water floser . As I have very close teeth and flossing can be difficult. Ive had a geographic tongue all life. So I that means no minty tooth paste or mouth wash etc. Certain foods affect my mouth when I have flares

I always go, but I really struggle to trust the dentists in my area. I had to visit no fewer than 5 to find one I trusted. It just seems like many of them recommended procedures that I 100% did not need. Flossing, I get. Brushing carefully, I get. After that, I don't know...

I think they tell everyone the same thing.

I don't floss. I just lie. Had my teeth cleaned today and that seemed to satisfy them. I figure that fib doesn't hurt anybody, I including me. 😀
