Sad news. Warren's (Michael's older half brother) father had a stroke this morning. He is on life support and completely brain dead. Warren is the next of kin and he decided to pull the plug. Obviously this is a trying time for all of us, especially Warren. Cassie and the dad-in-law and I are gonna go see Warren tomorrow since we couldn't get out today. Since I promised myself that I would be 100% honest in this journal in all things I'm gonna confess something: while I would never wish death on another human being...I'm not to upset that he's gone. He was horribly abusive to Warren and to Michael's mother while they were married, both verbally and physically. I'm happy that Warren no longer has to deal with him. He didn't need that man in his life. He made my dad look like fricking Santa Claus! That being said...I truly feel bad for Warren and the rest of the Lipps Kids. They have been experiancing death after death this year on the dad-in-law's side of the family. And their mother suffered a stroke and heartattack at the same time and was on life support for awhile. Dad had to pull the plug on her too. It's not fair that they have to go through those emotions again.
I took Cassie to Dairy Queen for dinner. They were outta grilled, so crispy chicken it was. We blared music and screamed it at the top of our lungs with a mouth full of food like we did when we were kids. I hope it helped. Tomorrow we are gonna spend the whole day with Warren...hopefully I can find some stuff to eat.
On a more positive note...does anyone live in St. Louis county (north county) MO? I'm seriously skimping on the exercising and need an accountibil-abuddy.
