Korean dolsot bibimbap for dinner. Our homemade version was better than some restaurants I’ve gotten it at. 🤤

Certainly looks like a good meal. I've wanted to try bimbibap since we got Aria a picture book about it at the library through the summer 🌞🏝️ Reading program. It was a awesome lil book even has their family recipe in the back. I'll try to find it and put it on here. I need to make it I had planned to do it it when it was in our reading rotation but you know life goes you get busy and...

Wifey this site has a ton of banchan recipes. https://www.koreanbapsang.com/15-korean-vegetable-side-dishes/ The dolsot I ordered on Amazon and followed their stove recipe. You can really add whatever you want to it.

Store bought kimchi obviously. I tried making my own in the past and it was terrible🤮

Oh no 😮 that makes me a bit nervous... what went wrong with the kimchi? Kimchi is one of the things I want to try making with the family... Apparently fermented vegetables and foods are apparently supposed to be really good for autoimmune diseases and Ryan really loves kimchi but it's so expensive. So I thought we might pick up trying to make it. But as we're just dabblers we might not be very good at making it can you share any tips that you learned? Maybe I should just skip this one for now and go back to pickles, LOL.
