I was hungry today, but I had eaten everything I was supposed to so I just stayed hungry. Had a little snack after work, but I am still hungry. My calculation is that I have felt stuffed so that this has to be the other side: if I felt stuffed getting fat, then I have to feel hungry to get skinny. It's my latest theory. I am not starving by any means, just really ready for dinner!

We are going out for dinner to our usual place. And then tomorrow I am renting a storage box to put in the driveway so that my husband can start taking his stuff out of the house - it will be weird. But clean. That is also my latest theory.

I have a lot of theories! Too tired to go to WW weigh in. I have to plan better and get a better location to weigh in. Tuesdays aren't a good day either. Anyway, I have been watching what I eat.

Hope you are having a good day!

Ok, here is my not so popular opinion...being hungry is not necessary. In fact, it is a bad thing. When we do not listen to our bodies we mess our metabolisms up big time. Perhaps next time you might try a low cal snack like cucumber wedges, a small salad with a teaspoon of dressing or something like that? It will not give you a lot of extra calories but will satisfy your tummy and keep your metabolism higher...hope this helps. :)

Thank you Dawn, I know what you are trying to say! I think my tummy feels squeezy every once in a while if I am tired or thirsty and I interpret that as "hungry" - I am by no means denying myself calories, quite the contrary! But I noticed that Sunday I ate to feeling overful, and I think for my sense of balance I am going to let my tummy be "underful" when I know that I have already eaten plenty! I am thinking it is part of learning the difference between real hunger and stress, or between hunger and boredom - and retraining to keep from eating all my food for the day before noon time! Just a little "tough love" on myself, Know what I mean?

I know exactly what you mean!! There is a fine balance between "hungry" and "too hungry." Personally, I pretty much destroyed all my natural hunger cues over the years and am still in the process of rejuvenating my sense of when I am "hungry" vs. "thirsty" vs. "tired" vs. "bored" and so on and so forth. It is a good thing to be physically ready for a meal I think ... and I actually prefer the "hungry" feeling to the "overstuffed" feeling that I made myself feel, once again last night, in response to feeling overwhelmed emotionally.

Abba you have to do what is right for you. Just make sure you are not starving yourself. Yes it will be hard to watch your husband take all his stuff but you will get through this! Hugs
