I swear this is the slowest weight loss I have ever experienced. With alllll that I was eating before, you would think that drastically cutting my calories would cause the pounds to just come off. But I guess this will be a slow burn. I am starting to feel better, slightly more energetic. My big goal is to not be as winded when coming up the stairs at one of my school. There are three flights of steep stairs and I am just about done when I get to the top. It's my goal to not feel like I'm about to die by the end of the year, lol.

It is always a challenge and sometimes seems insurmountable. You mention cutting calories but I cannot seem to see your food log. If you log intake perhaps we all might be able to provide some insight? (for me cutting all simple carbs (except for yesterday and a couple of other occasions in the last 6 months), upping protein and increasing hydration has been quite effective - using CICO as a measure) Could also be a case of an extreme calorie cut is convincing your body machine that is starving thus lowering your BMR. I'm finding that losing weight is a bit of a science experiment.

As you age, it gets harder. If you increase your activity level (exercise is one way to do this), and increase your protein intake you will accelerate weight loss. However, increasing protein often means increasing fat too much, so many of use protein suppliments to avoid too much fat. Lean chicken, fish and lean pork can boost protein too. But, there is nothing wrong with going slow.
