I'll be spending more time in the produce dept at the store today!😊👍

Anybody have a fave recipe for smoothies using mostly veggies? I made them last night but it was mostly fruits....

The problem is my ill-fitting dentures and the inability to chew raw or even some cooked veggies (& some fruits!). Can't afford new chompers, but I've already got a Magic Bullet to make smoothies!😂 I just wanna get more veggies down the hatch!

I like sweet smoothies, so make ours with fruit, but you can throw some veggies in there, too. I have put spinach in mine occasionally.

I'm not a big smoothie drinker but I like cucumbers and melons together. Maybe add a little OJ.

kale, tomato (fresh,puree,sauce,V8), onion, garlic, radish, and spice it up with horseradish and tobacco sauce. I even use bone broth as the liquid. The consistency will be like V8 or a homemade puree soup depending on how much liquid you add. you could even use butternut squash. For me the the horseradish sauce was key to making it a "bloody Mary mocktail". sometimes j just drink it down, other times as my hot summer day beverage over ice.

I don't always use bone broth but if I have it I do instead of water.

I like to make a smoothie with 2 cups of spinach, 1/2 cup berries, 1 cup carrot juice, protein powder and a little extra water. Lots you can do with a blender and/or juicer! 😋

I like a veggie smoothie that has spinach, cucumber, carrot, parsley, ginger, and mint. Sometimes I put in banana for a bit more sweetness. It can be a bit chunky/thick because of the carrot but I liked it that way.
