One day and already I was going to overcomplicate things. I have pennies in my pocket, 1 for each of my allowed, no recommended, points for the day. I am allowed to eat whatever I want - if I want to lose weight, I stick to my points. No one is forcing me to do this.
Ok, already tried to complicate things - got up this morning and thought: what if I wear pants that don't have pockets? So, I got a little plastic sandwich bag and then put an envelope in there for "used" and "available" points - and then added 35 cents for the flex points, using 3 dimes and a nickel. Then I put that in my purse so that I would always have it with me. Does this sound simple to you? Well, it was not.
I decided to put on pants that have two pockets. I have "used" points on the left, "available" on the right. That is it. I am eating when I get hungry. Moving the pennies when I get the food on a plate. Eat. That is it.
Not going to obsess. Not going to look up recipes. If I am hungry, a pancake with a teaspoon of butter tastes good. If I am hungry, a container of yogurt is enough to satisfy me. Maybe I will go and get some fresh vegetables, but I have plenty of frozen ones, so I don't have to shop today. Unless I want to, for entertainment.
