I'm not surprised, FS size/calorie estimates are usually low. I weigh everything, in grams, much more accurate than ounces.

I do weight everything and it is fairly shocking to me how many calories fruit has.

I’ve weighed everything in grams from day one, even if I am taking a Clementine to work, I weigh it with the peel before I leave, keep the peel and bring it home and weigh it and subtract it. I can’t be more accurate than I have been, and I do believe it is part of the reason that I’m maintaining for nearly 2 years with no problems. I think many struggle with maintenance because they do not keep track of what they are eating. I always have and I believe it helps me stay successful. Many can do it without tracking but I am not there yet. Maybe someday! 🤗

Wow! I thought I was doing good to lig my Sam's Club large navel oranges as a large orange. I'm sure I was under logging the true amount. Thanks for info!👍

To be honest, this bag I bought has some HUGE oranges. I just compared them to another bag of normal navel and they are easily 3+ times the size lol. But still, weighing is important. I know I also get some large Honeycrisp apples that are 150-200 calories when the normal large ones on here are 110.

That happens when I buy apples. It’s really annoying. I moved onto frozen cut up fruit and it’s easy to weigh.
