Hello everyone! I hope that you are all having as good a day as I had night last night! BBQ at my sisters-in-law's house with their adorable son. Robert was playing in the kiddie pool and I couldn't get over how much he looked like a little boy and not a toddler with his swim trunks on. But, you could see glimpses of his swim diaper...so I was good. They had a smorgasboard of food there. Chips and meat and pasta salad and potato salad and baked beans and smores and brownies and rice krispe treats. I think that all things considered I did quite well. After Robert went to bed a bunch of us went to the movies and saw Transformers. I wasn't in a good mood at the time because I was still hungry and everyone was eating constantly and I was trying to not let it bother me but it did. But the movies perked me right up! Michael and I did go with D and D to see Xmen first class (a slight disappointment for comic books fans) about a month ago and the seats were still uncomfortable. my knees were under the arm rests because of how big my stomach is yadda yadda. Most of you know what that's like. When we saw Transformers though...I was almost comfy! I could fit into the chair (just barely, but I did!) Michael and I even got to cuddle during most of the movie....till my legs fell asleep and I had to shift position.
I can't tell you guys what a positive thing that was. To see some results when I haven't really been seeing them for awhile was wonderful. I mark my weight by my pants size ya see...and right now I believe I'm about 10 pounds to go before I go down another size. That will be a total of four sizes lost! It's just hard to stay motivated when your pants are slightly to big, but the size down is still to small. So, to see how the movie seat changed is about 2 months was awesome sauce.

Sorry for all the rambling...I was just really exicited. I hope that you guys understood it!

That's awesome Bekka! It's all the small "normal person" things that you can now do, that make the weight loss worthwhile. I've noticed some myself, and they're truly amazing moments!

That is awesome! Things like this can only be appreciated by those of us who have been morbidly obese...congrats to you for recognizing that as progress, because it definitely is!
