Good day today, although a little long and tiring. Back at the gym this morning, only enough time for cardio but I really packed it in to 35 minutes. I am jogging almost half of my time or at a similar intensity level (higher incline on treadmill etc.), and I keep pushing it up a notch or two with every week. No wonder the Elliptical fears me instead of me fearing it! YAH BAYBEE. Commando Butterfly. Yep.

Huge thunderstorm here this afternoon and I got caught driving in it because I had to go pick up my anti-crazy-people meds before my doctor's office closed for the long holiday weekend. It was cool and a pain in the a$$ at the same time.

On the way back from the med pickup I stopped at Publix to pick up a couple items and while I was there I decided to hop on the scale to see if they had received the same tweet as did the gym scale. Obviously the story had gone viral amongst the weight-measuring-device social media and Mr. Publix scale carefully reported 242.5 lbs., trumping the official recorded figure by Mr. gym scale. Uh-huh. I stood there for long enough to make sure he wasn't lying and left him to his own devices.

I am not going to record that weight tonight since I just recorded, I'll weigh in next week and report that. But, it's telling me that the change-ups are working and the treat night might remain on the schedule a few times a month.

It's all about the long term plan. And my eyes are on the prize... along with my somewhat smaller keister and the rest of me. LOL!!!

You seem to have everything going your weigh again, Auntie! You are (literally) working your keister off at the gym! I'm so proud of your perseverance and determination in working towards your goals. Have a super fantastic holiday weekend and don't forget to take your Happy Pills!

Buffy I have this vision of a butterfly in special forces garb or perhaps a Ninja, if I showed up to the gym in THAT I think the staff would be the ones that wet themselves!
