BACK IN BLACK!!!

Lovely rain today, we need it so badly! It is almost July and finally our summer rain has started, it is amazing how quickly everything turns green again after a nice rainfall and all of the nitrogen is sucked up by the plants.

I spent the better part of the day doing household chores since those darned cleaning fairies never showed... I'll bet they are off partying with the leprechauns in a pub somewhere. The neighbor down the street came over and mowed our lawn today, he does a lot of yards in the neighborhood and he said he just wanted to do it because he loves us... he and his wife are really special people, it is good to have neighbors like this. Of course the fairies will try to say that they sent him but I know better, a gift like that can only come from a good hearted soul that would send the stupid fairies packing! Who needs them anyway, they usually leave their damned fairy dust everywhere and their flitting about drives the cats crazy!

Going back to the gym tomorrow, I have gotten all kinds of other exercise but I really miss the gym. It is my time for me and only for me, and the benefits I receive from it are greater than just helping with weight loss. That stupid elliptical is probably thinking he has beaten me and I won't dare show my face again... not so quick there Mr. E, you be messin' with the Butterfly Commando! I think I'll sneak up on him from behind the Treadmill... I heard the treadmill is P.O'd at him anyway because his ego is so big he popped the electrical circuit shared by the both of them, so hopefully he won't blow my cover. I'll have different clothes on too so that will help. Commando mode y'all.

So enough of my silly stories... I'm tired and ready to put the wings in the hangar tonight and get some sleep. Hope everyone is having a wonderful, healthy week!

ONWARD......

Hi, Auntie! How nice to have such good neighbors! I'm really glad you caught a break with mowing the yard because you had plenty to take care of on the home front. I'm afraid Mr. E is in for a rude awakening tomorrow! He probably thinks you're still out cavorting. Have a good night, and a wild workout tomorrow! HUGS!

I love your thoughts on Mr E. I found him difficult to deal with when I had my first experience of him on Tuesday - I shall think of him in your terms now, an egotistical man that needs pulling down a peg or two. I will have to think of something for Mr Wave machine - he is bizarre - I think he is trying to lull me into a sleep so I don't work hard. Then there is Mr bike - mmmm I think I will tackle Mr E and Mr Wave first, the one friend I have is Mr Treadmill. Lol. Have a good day and beat the sh*t out of Mr E

Hi Pam it was really welcomed help because Grif has a huge mower and the grass was really high after the rain we've (finally) had. Hope you're doing great!

LOL Skinny you are so right about that ego... we all must band together against conceited ellipticals everywhere. :O) Mr. Bike is a little less smug I think, but they all need to be kept in their places!

Auntie - hope you enjoyed your time at the gym. I miss mine - it was a woman's only gym it it closed when the economy soured. All the other gyms in my area are mixed sex and I just refuse to go.
