abbadabba's Journal, 19 Nov 22

Good morning! Lots of water yesterday and hit the sweet spot calorie-wise apparently to get the ounces off! I have run out of vegetables and almond milk so going to Costco later. I love Costco and will have to be judicious in the pie aisle. My mom and sister are joining me and my two children for Thanksgiving so I am tempted to get pies. I might let my mom know that she can bring a pie if she wants to and then I won't think about desert because I have a lot of pumpkins in my house just to make pies. I got many pounds of sweet pumpkins at the organic farm at the end of their season so I am loaded with squash types.
My house is coming together, since I realized that I am having people over for Thanksgiving. Got rid of many items, including a mirror that was 5 feet wide and 3 feet tall. I and a random woman off the neighborhood free cycle slid it into her car and she drove off happy as a clam! She seemed to have a couple of other mirrors too so who knows what she was doing with them. I was glad someone else felt like they could use it. Also got rid of some odds and ends and I am having the Epilepsy Foundation and the Vietnam Vets come and take other things. Figured out that the Vietnam Vets will take furniture - If I can lift it, so can they and they will take it.
Pumpkin pics for the season!

Sounds like you are getting ready for the big celebration. Envious about the pumpkins here we do not see them after October

Always good to refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle, repurpose. We are also downsizing.
