BuffyBear's Journal, 30 Mar 15

Was bad this weekend. Where is my motivation? Don't I care anymore? Tough questions I'll be spending the rest of the day trying to figure out.

HCB - So right - I need to be responsible for me. No one tied me up and forced peanut butter down my throat.

We are all entitled to a break now and then. I agree with everyone else - the fact that you are still posting shows you care and will be able to get back on track.

I am struggling to get re-motivated as well. I keep eating the wrong things and getting lazy. one good thing is the sun is shining again! And everyday is a new day and every moment is a new moment. Let's get motivated together now, in this moment. :)

Panigale - No, it wasn't that bad, but since I gained 2 pounds I might just as well have had the cookies. Wishing you a "back on track" week.

Glorious - Maybe what I need is a motivational partner. Let's do this!

You can do this just dust yourself off & get back on your diet. I know it's hard & we all go through some tough times that test our commitment to ourselves. Just remember why you joined FS. We are all here for you.

Buffy, do you have a goal besides the weight loss? Mine was to avoid having a knee replacement. it was a powerful goal that kept me steering back on track when I veered off. Yes, it is a long journey, one that will probably keep going for a lifetime to avoid gaining those unwanted pounds back on and staying fit and healthy. I know mine will be lifetime. I also need to re-read Younger Net Year for Women again to get my exercise motivation back in gear.
