SNACK, SNACK SNACK! OH My, I have been so hungry because I have been eating under 1,000 Calories a day! I am trying to eat the "Good For You foods!" though!

We passed Culver's Custard Ice cream shop on our way to the Doctor's office today. I took a long look, and then I said to myself, "don't you dare Ann!" :) and I didn't! Boy oh boy, do I want some of that!! :)

Yesterday I finally ate my cookie, well half of one anyway! Umm! That was the best half cookie that I have ever eaten in a very long time umm! Thank goodness, that I stopped at a half cookie! :)

Bad News- The doctor told me that I am per-Diabetic Darn! :(

The good News- I am still losing weight. I think that the bad news will keep me motivated and determined to lose more weight, and become healthy!

You all take care. I am praying for all of you guys-(My buddies!) GBU~Ann :)

IF you MUST limit calories; Eat 1500 calories a day. but 1000 for breakfast. :) It cuts the cravings for sweets. I swear it works.

Cheering for you!!!!!..."a half of a cookie"...WOW...now that is discipline. I have found discovered that protein for breakfast and as a snack helps us feel fuller ...longer...Dannon make some very good "specialty flavors"... only 80 calories and 12 grams of protein per serving....Keep on Keeping on!!!! You ARE doing this...just keep on keeping on !!!!!!

I feel you Ann! Some days I need a little something so I bake a batch of something and have one or two. But only once a week. It's amazing how little you really need of anything you think you "have" to have! Sorry about that per-diebetic warning from the Doc. I think that's a standard in the medical industry for just about anyone these days. You can most likely healthfully eat your way out of the danger zone.

Wow!! Ann you are strong resisting Culver's custard ice cream it sounded sooooo good, I don't think we have them here in CA. Sorry to hear you are pre Diabetic, that's my problem also and that's why I came onto FS to help me get my weight down before my blood test in 3wks. Carbs are really the problem. It's hard for me to stay away from the white stuff as I really love good bread.

Hopefully you will be like many here that have followed their plan, lost weight, exercised and the diabetic threat slowly disappears. It is a goal you can add besides the weight loss to help spur you toward your goal.
