Good morning🌞 Taking a 'rest day' since my overexuberance while cleaning the garage led to an evening back to using my walker🤦🏻♀️ Give me an inch and I'll take a mile...you'd think I'd learn, but I easily get ridiculously fatigued and end up hurting myself. Nothing serious, thank goodness, but it looks like I'll need to postpone trying out the new resistance bands I got online, at least for a couple of days. I SO applaud those here on FS that can lift, run, hike, row, bike, climb, and perform amazing feats of strength and endurance! 👏👏👏👏👏 I encourage you to treasure these abilities, and build on them 💪🏻💪🏻 just like I will continue to stay as active & strong as physically possible. It never ceases to amaze me how varied our individual circumstances, goals & regimens are in this FS community and yet we all can find common ground and TONS of encouragement & support here. Fat Secret is somethin very special💙🌼💙

I hate to read you may have hurt yourself. My jumping rope too much too fast put me in a boot. It's only been 2 weeks since I took it off. Foot is good but I did learn NOT to do too much too soon. Slow and steady (I know it is so hard). Also I learned that I still lost weight during those weeks 🤷. Me thinks I was fluffy due to food intake.

Prayers for quick healing. I’m a work a holic, so once I start a project, it’s hard for me not to finish it v. do large projects in stages.

CrystalJo, The surgery seems to have been done well. It is pretty painful today but that should start to turn around tomorrow. I can straighten my knee and bend it about 90 degrees. Start PT tomorrow so I expect another painful day. But I have been told, if you make it past the first 2 weeks, then the rest just boils down to consistent workouts

ImalittleLESSfluffyNOW, glad to hear you graduated from the boot😊 Apparently going up & down the step ladder may have been the culprit for my pain...along with cleaning the hot tub🤦♀️

StormsGirl, I'm like that too, especially with yardwork! I really need to set a timer and take breaks...but like you said, it's hard🙄
