Merry Monday to my FS family😎

Motivation...it's different & evolving for each of us. I am motivated by this community every day! I see a new recipe/dish here and am motivated to write it down & try it. I read the inspiring posts of folks just like me, overcoming obstacles & temptations and I am spurred on.

My Smartwatch is pretty good at motivating me too...that little vibration on my wrist that reminds me to get up and move, or to get ready for bed or to take my meds.

My family motivates me, with compliments & encouragement, and the occasional concern, to keep me attentive & watchful about my food choices and my need for rest.

For some it might be competitiveness, or Dr's orders. It's kind of like NSVs...takes some reflection to capture, but can be very helpful overall.

What motivates you?🤔

Seeing others success and their willingness to share what works for them and what doesn't. The encouragement helps, too! :-)

What motivates me Crystaljo74 is knowing that Gods love me, great friends like you, good music, good food.

I'm encouraged by (of course) encouraging words, by others going through the same trials I am (misery loves company), and (unfortunately) by the scale going down.

Debbie...not gonna lie...the scale is still a hugely motivating factor for me too. You're not alone💙

My latest is my knees hurting less and how great I feel after a good night's sleep (due to no more high fat late night snacking & alcohol). Seeing the numbers inch down helps too. But I'm learning to love the NSV.

I’m motivated by all the cute tiny clothes that i can finally wear, after dressing for decades in potato sacks. I’m under 5’ tall so I really do need to stay slim or I look plump quickly! There’s no place ( height!) to hide it. Also motivated by finally liking who I see in the mirror!!! Ive faced rejection in multiple firms from close family members for my weight. No more!! They can love me or not! My acceptance comes from inside now! I appreciate you, crystal jo.
