Update on the Cheese Noodles - THE GOOD, BAD AND THE UGLY:
Last night I finally did cook those noodles that I made Sunday, but I am still not able to review them. You see, the recipe clearly calls for 2% mozzarella cheese, else the noodles will melt from too much fat. I could not find the 2% so used "part skim" thinking it was the same thing. It was not. My noodles melted.
But not all was lost. I strained the cooked melted mass, patted it together, re-cut the noodles and tossed them in my garlic chive butter. Unbelievably good!
Now comes the ugly part. They were so good that I could not stop eating them. I rationalized by saying, in the name of research, I needed to try them in different ways. Ended up eating almost 2,000 calories yesterday! But I did it for culinary science!

Have you tried Shirataki Noodles? They have little to no carbs in them. Most brands have zero calories in them. Some have about 10 calories. Saute them in pure butter or olive oil. Add shrimp and veggies. So yummy. I am on the Atkins so I keep my carbs very low.

Got the web site thank you Buffy. I wonder what they taste like fried in coconut oil.... Where can you post photos on this site? I have one somewhere of a rabbit asleep on the top of a tub of flowers by the front door. There were no flowers left, it was so stuffed it had to have a snooze!

Wish I had taken photos no more rabbit buddies. Miss Jazzy crazy pup keeps them terrorized and out of my gardens, most of the time.m

I love noodles. All kinds of noodles, it interesting trying different noodles from all over the world, so many cultures have noodles as a staple. I'm thinking of splurging on a spirolizer to try veggie ones but other priorities come first. I have put many a veggie through my curly fry cutter, grins. I also make noodles, used to roll them out with rolling pin and by hand with a sharp knife, I now gave a hand cranked Italian pats roller. Love it!!

I have a spiralizer and come summertime when the squash and zucchini are abundant, I use mine a lot. I have found they don't freeze well, though. I have chopped up zucchini in one and 1/2 sections and chopped them into little french fry pieces and they are a pretend penne pasta! Those froze up much better.
