Soooo...I did get in a short nap yesterday. I actually spent more time reading than sleeping.
The app has a glitch & it won't download my pics from dinner last night. It was actually glitching after dinner when I was trying to enter my dessert, but that resolved itself. Sent a message to FS...weekend they aren't working. I know I could uninstall & reinstall but maybe it will fix itself.
I just got in from the gardens. I trimmed some lambs ear that had turned brown along the edge of the patch. Most of it looks really healthy. Then I cut back stalks & pulled browning/ yellow leaves off the daylillies & hostas that had bloomed.. I think the daylillies are done for the season. I do have a few that rebloom, but not the big colorful ones. And I pulled grass out of a couple of beds that had spread from the lawn. I felt a few sprinkles while outside but I kept working & they blew over.
I was hungrier than usual yesterday. Two theories...I was hungry because I got more exercise or cause I had an earlier breakfast. In the past, if I ate breakfast then I was hungry for lunch earlier than if I skipped breakfast. Since I usually don't eat breakfast til when many people eat lunch, I can go til later in the day before I feel hungry. I ate lunch after we got home from the gym. Hubby brought me half of his sandwich when he came back from lunch with the guys. I resisted & didn't eat it, even though it looked appetizing. This morning I cut the half in half & we ate it for breakfast. It wasn't a huge piece so I also cut an English muffin in half & we shared it, too.
We have scheduled our regular session with the trainer @ the Gym on Monday afternoons. Since we're retired we don't have to exercise early. The other days we can go earlier if we choose to, but no pressure.
Tomorrow, we're going to a Memorial for a friend that died recently from Cancer. She fought a hard battle for about 3 years. The Memorial is going to be in the City Park. She is well known in the community as she was part owner in a couple of resteraunts. She and her Husband opened a Greek restaurant (her heritage) a few years ago.
Gonna go throw the laundry in the dryer, make something to eat & watch an episode or 2 of TV 😊
