Darn, I gained a few pounds. I suppose it's to be expected , since I had a total knee replacement and was fed by my partner.
I have to accept responsibility; I baked healthy cookies four days after surgery. I didn't think healing after surgery was the time to restrict my eating.
I was able to go to Pilates yesterday, the morning after my surgeon released me to do whatever I want (that doesn't hurt me). I managed to do the entire hour, and do it quite well. My physical therapy exercises prepared me for it well.
Tomorrow I will go to Zumba Gold, and ease my way back in to my joyful dance-exercise addiction.
I am going to do my best to cut down on my sugar consumption. Trying to cut it out totally would be setting myself up for failure. I know me. :)
This is going to be a great year!
