Weighed in this morning with 1+ edema and was 192....dry weight yesterday was 190....legs hurt last night, woke me up in fact, and so I think there is some correlation between edema and leg pain...intense but dull, and at times throbbing in shin...woke up a couple of times to urinate as well.

FBS 107 this morning, though I did eat some cookies last night that were fairly high in sodium like 800 mg total....bad me!!!!!

will take another lasix at noon, and recheck my blood sugar as well...in about 45 minutes from now.

Still cold outside, need to grind more food for ducks....and check on kittens....

Hi Oxdrover - I was looking at your food logs as I know you struggle with the sodium issue as do I. I notice you drink alot of milk and eat foods where sodium is added to the food rather than foods where sodium is a natural component of the food such as in fruits, vegetables and lean proteins. Could it be that the nitrate as part of the sodium is the culprit for you? My doc explained that to me and I will have to tell you that I can eat much more "sodium" when it is the natural component but if I eat 400 mg where salt is added to the food (such as milk) I blow up like a balloon. Just a thought and maybe something you want to consider.
