Yesterday afternoon I did:
Juice & Toya - 45 Minute Full Body Dumbbell Workout [Strength Training]

I've done this one before with 4kg weights I think - maybe 5kg too. Yesterday's attempt with 6.5kg was a bit ambitious me thinks. I ended up just doing 2 of the 3 sets and forwarding to the cool down stretch at the end. So got a good 30 minute workout in, but something told me that's all I had in the tank.

Yesterday morning the scale said 68.7kg again so I was quite chuffed with that. But, then we went for a walk this morning for 1h45mins and since I hadn't had breakfast I weighed 68.2kg just before hitting the shower. Nice to see, but I'm not sure if it will stick tomorrow morning. We were quite tired after our 8m walk that the frisbee didn't make it out of the backpack this morning, but that's fine.

Calorie counting has been going quite well this week with a few small adjustments to try to keep the numbers lower than usual. I did, however, indulge in half a bottle of Merlot last night and some cheese and crackers. All weighed and logged though. Some marked down Gu desserts may have also appeared on the menu... they were delicious and well worth it!

I managed to talk hubby into joining me for some live jazz at a place walking distance away last night. The quartet was quite good with the lead guitarist very skilled and I loved the keyboard and bass too (bass being my favourite jazz instrument), but we agreed that the drums were rather loud for the small venue. I'm so glad I heard of this place though so I'll keep an eye out for more such events. Sadly they're taking a break for jazz shows until September - I have no idea why - so I'll wait patiently for then. So glad he quite enjoyed the show as well though!

Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday! xxx

How lovely to be able to walk to go out ! I love live music and I love jazz. Drums need a carpet underneath them to absorb a bit of sound.

Good point Try. I did not know that. I'm sure a rug would have made a difference. Yes, I love both too (live music and jazz) so I'm looking forward to more in September! xxx
