I am honestly so frustrated. I am trying so hard to watch what I eat and the scale keeps going up. The only time it goes down is after fasting and of course as soon as I eat it goes up. I was looking at my trend and I've gained 1 pound each month since November last year. My brain hurts from trying. I'm exhausted.

Sorry ranting...

Rant away. That is what this is about. Are you maybe close to a healthy weight? My suggestion would be maybe to just take a break. If you have been undereating for a long time that could be nice for your body. Sometimes eating more is better than eating less. After break then evaluate where you are at and how you should eat

It’s so frustrating when you’re trying and trying but nothing gives. That was my experience for the past year and a half! Only now that I’m calorie counting everything everyday am I finally seeing the scale move downward.

@Emma it’s probably part of my problem too. I nibble a lot and don’t know how to long those calories in all the time. Maybe I should just log them in as a full serving and leave it at that so I can actually see what I eat.

Are you using a food scale? You can measure everything you eat that way. I usually weigh the grams and then I can see what fraction that is of a full portion. Between this app, nutrition labels and a food scale you’ll have the power to always know what you’re consuming if you commit to logging everything. It’s an annoying but worth it.

@emma no I don’t have a food scale. Which one do you use?
