Happy Tuesday Folks.

Wind chill temp at 2 degrees. ~grrr~ Dark and cold - and not welcome in the slightest. 4" of snow yesterday shut most schools down - stomach virus has shut down my son and step son. Tis the season.

After a day off Sunday from the gym, yesterday's workout, which I would've expected to be strong, was sluggish. Barely got through a handful of lifts and gave up on cardio after 15 minutes. Such a weak display - considering i had rested Sunday.

Trying to figure out what is going to get me another 5 pounds. Clearly I have stalled. My energy is weak. Muscles fatigued. Past 6 months have caught up with me, I suppose. So, working with the weight loss simulator, giving myself 50 days for 5 pounds, setting the exercise level lower, it still gives me a daily average of 2200 calories. Hmmm - not sure. That number scares me. But this simulator is pretty solid on numbers.

Also, the rest days are imperative now. So 2 days between lifts since shoulder and knee are still and issue. Just try to grab good amounts of LISS on off days.

LISS Cardio today.

Have a great day everyone. Hopefully it's warmer where you are. Cheers.

You are doing good and lack of energy and sluggishness perhaps time for a new routine? Brrr yes we had 4 inches of snow last week and will finally be about 45 today.

yeah Rockiesfan - switching it up - but it has more to do with the intensity. i go hard, all out, all the time - and hadn't built in rest days. also, i've basically been on a cutting diet for who knows how long - it all seems to be adding up as fatigue. so dialing back intensity and frequency and adding at least 2 days rest per week.

Personalization. Recovery. You don't make gains without complete recovery and a sustainable plan.
