Dang...I was doing so well. Had a high stakes, high priority, tight deadline project dropped in my lap as soon as I walked into my office this morning. I "coped" with the stress by eating my body weight in chocolate and drinking the first Diet Coke I'd had in a month. My body is not happy with the way I feel -- I'm filing away this feeling as data to be used in making future decisions. No shame, no blame, no remorse -- simply assessing the situation.
In my defense, it was really, really good chocolate...that my boss gave me when he handed me the project. (He knows me well.) And did you know chocolate actually has fiber?? At least it helped me hit that goal 😂

little_mermee -- I am a definite fan of a bit of chocolate in the diet! Just not...THIS much. 😂 I like my chocolate dark as Satan's soul 😈 My usual is the 82% cocoa Dove, and my boss has learned to never buy me anything less than 70%. I also sometimes make chocolate shakes with banana, avocado, milk, and cocoa powder. And you're right -- a Diet Coke or two won't sidetrack me if I don't let it 😊

Chocolate is a necessity on some days. I make time for Chocolate daily, i actually eat two graham crackers every night when those midnight cravings happen. I put 5 chips on each graham cracker rectangle and put it in the oven to melt the chocolate chips so they are spreadable. Just smooth the chocolate on the graham, make little sammies, devour. It may be a mind game, but it works for me.
I am glad you had that chocolate on hand!

Good, dark chocolate has some at least, buenitabishop, and so does cocoa powder. I don't know about milk chocolate. It's a definite check the label thing
