br_e_co's Journal, 12 Oct 14

Morning folks. Up 2 today to 153.6. Weighing everyday, while some claim it puts too much stress on a person, has helped me not to worry. It has helped me understand fluctuations. It could be salt, it could be from my workout(does anyone else go up after a weight training day? I notice this pretty consistently over the years) with water retention and inflammation, it could be any number of things.

Now, if I stayed at this weight over the next two or three days ... i'd panic. And then modify. But ... I have also noticed huge dips like yesterday, followed up with a gain, then a nice drop after it evens out. Tough to say.

Cardio day. Get a little more control on calories. Hit some golf balls. Go see "Gone Girl" with my wife. Have a great day everyone.

I like to weigh every day too, more than once a week for sure. When I don't weigh often I'm likely to slip up and gain 5 without noticing.

me too. NOT weighing myself helped get me here in the first place.

I agree with you both. I use to think it did not matter ... but now i think it does. You cannot change what you don't measure, right? I only record here once a week, but track on my own. Folks are split on the idea of weighing every day ... personal preference. We have to do what works for us. Cheers!
