br_e_co's Journal, 11 Oct 14

Good morning folks. Hopefully things dry out around here today for some yard work.

Unofficial weigh in today has me down a pound from yesterday - 151.6 - which is crazy, but mentally appreciated. See if it holds. If there is one thing about this particular weight loss journey, always expect the unexpected. I have also learned the body is adaptive ... so we must adapt. Eat more, eat less, change your workouts, get sleep. Keep evolving if you want your body to evolve into the most perfect you.

Sad to report that the Quest Chips, while beneficial in protein (21g), are quite terrible. I suppose if you wanted to fight off a bag of Ruffles, you could sub in these every now and then, but they are tough to eat and cost a bit much for a tiny bag. I knew it was too good to be true. ;) Pop Chips are a great alternative for fat, but still a high carb chip (which ones aren't?) and obviously no where near 21g of protein. Quest Nutrition does so many good things, but this was not one of them. And, more brands as tools for the fight in weight loss, Isopure makes the best whey powder I have found, and they also have other products that are very clean.

Workout in fasted state today(every day, really), Cardio-weight lifting (HIIT for weights), sprints, elliptical, and some evening walking. Average planned eating day - working on keeping the protein high. Happy with the unofficial weigh in.

Have a good day all!
