Happy Friday. It is another beautiful spring day and I have every intention of getting my walk in at lunch time.
Our older cat has me worried. He won't eat - and when this cat won't eat you know he is sick. DH may have to take him to the vet this afternoon.
On a positive note - I am proud to report that I have managed to eat a veggie with every breakfast this week. This morning - had mushroom & green onion omelet.

Getting in veggies in the morning can be really hard, I am very proud you are trying.It makes the rest of the day easier to get the rest of the veggies in. I look at them as little warriors, they fight the fat and the more i can get in and the sooner I do , the more they wash the fat away. Silly I know, but it helps in the big picture.

Bren - I use the work omelet loosely. I make what Rachael Ray would call a "Scramble". But when you close your eyes it still tastes the same.

Oh poor kitty - if you are like me, my cats are a huge part of my life - hope he is ok :) Enjoy your walk and your weekend :) @83JEN I also have to make all this visual...I think I am the queen of this...I like the idea of warrior veggies :) lol!!

Kitty is still sick and not eating or drinking. He is on amoxicillin so may start to feel better tomorrow. Thank you for your comments because I would be sad if something happened to him.

Its amazing how animals use the same kind of meds we do. My poodle used
insulin, thyroid and addisons meds just like humans. I got them at Wal Mart. She did well for 5 years. Hope the meds help your Kitty....Bren
