BuffyBear's Journal, 06 Apr 11

Sorry I'm on here so late this evening. I need to get up earlier if I want to chat. I miss you guys! Very busy work day - I keep logged on to recored my lunch/snacks and that is about it.

I did take a lunch break and got in a 40 min. walk over the nature trail and loved it! There were trees and branches down all over the paths which made it like an obstacle course. But crews had already started clearing so my playground will be gone soon.

Hi Buffy I did miss your journal this morning. Did you get the tree off your garage? I've been busy with quarterly reports etc. Hope you have a great evening.......Bren

Bren-my husband fired up his chain saw and had it cleaned up in no time. Only minor damage to the drip edge on the garage. I had to laugh when you asked if cars were hurt. The '49 Chevy sits in the garage while my car hangs out in the cold.

Well done on your walking and lol on the obstacle course. I am glad you had no major damage from the tree.

Our larger disaster doesn't make your damage any less, it is just different scales really. I would hate for a tree to fall on our property LOL

I do the same thing...log on when I can and stay logged on even though I'm busy elsewhere and nowhere near the computer. My DH thought he had hit the jackpot when we moved in and found an old (working!!) chain saw up in the attic. He had always wanted one and now he's a happy camper, just waiting for me to give him any project as an excuse to fire it up.

Buffy you have a '49 Chevy - how cool is that????? I love old cars, I don't know much about cars I will say, but I love their shape (my husband who is a mechanic laughs because I see cars in shapes and colours - never remember any of the names). You walk sounds great - enjoy :)

Tracy - it is my husband's hobby. This one doesn't have paint yet or I'd send you a pic. I wish he was more interested in fixing up the house, but I'm not going to start being negative this morning.
