I’m a month out from my tummy tuck surgery and I want to share some thoughts for anyone that’s thinking about it. When I was thinking about it, I was looking for honest feedback everywhere.
1) it gets rid of skin and certain kinds of fat. My doctor did a great job explaining this. It will not make you skinny. You may still have stretch marks.
2) people say they can walk upright after 2 weeks. Maybe some, but not me. 4 weeks out and I’m starting to be able to move normally.
3) the first 3-4 days are about it for pain. It’s uncomfortable and annoying because you can’t do stuff, but not super painful after the first few days.
Overall it’s made me feel petter about what I’ve accomplished. I still can’t believe my new body and I’m excited to get back to working out to keep gaining muscle.
