What's different about this time? I've purged my cupboards of junk food before. I've filled my refrigerator with fruit, veggies, and lean meats before. I've bought numerous low fat, low carb, low taste cookbooks before. I've told friends and family about my goals, and I've kept goals a secret before. I've posted pictures of my "before" and thinner "after" pictures for motivation before. I've set up rewards for meeting mini-goals before. And I've joined a few weight loss groups as well as started out on My Fat Secret before...so why does this time feel different?
What is that "extra something" that "just clicks" and makes this time feel like it is going to work? I don't know what it is. If I did I would bottle it and if it worked for everyone I'd give it away (if it only worked for me I'd get myself a lifetime supply!)
I hope I continue to feel this motivated until body changes kick in (I've been at this long enough to know that body changes are their own kind of motivation.)
