Not a good sugar intake day yesterday. Drank a chai latte and ate a small ice cream cone. I'm not going to beat myself up too badly for it. I did kayak 7 miles following three hours of volunteer work in a medical supply warehouse. Kayaking took a solid three hours of pretty consistent rowing. I'm sure I worked off everything I consumed, but I suspect I weigh more due to water weight from all the extra carbs. It was cheaper to simply feed three teenagers with pizza than to go the healthy route. I know it isn't a good excuse, but my budget is tight right now and with 90 degree temps packing a cooler with salads and sandwiches that would have to wait several hours in a hot car while we worked in the warehouse on top of travel time just wasn't going to work.

Today is a new day though. So I am going to bring myself back into check and restrict those sugars again so that I am back on track with the sugar challenge. I gave myself a day off of running. It makes me feel a little guilty for foregoing my long run. But, I know I will be right back to slugging out six miles tomorrow morning. I still owe the triathlon challenge a session of cycling and weight lifting so I am going to slug that out later today.

I have to say you certainly pack it all into your life. Oh and wow kayaking years since I done that, love it, makes my hula hooping sound very boring 8-)

Well, you kinda are my workout buddy, Yo. Electronically. But, you keep me motivated. :o) Buny, hula hooping is far from boring. I just couldn't find time to fit that in...eh, who am I kidding? I just kept forgetting to do it.
